Enjoy the smell of freshly baked cookies from the Bakery Musuem, or see for yourself how traditional Dutch clogs are made from the Wooden Shoe Workshop. Now you might be wondering why we’re recommending going to The Netherlands biggest supermarket brand Albert Heijn. And no, it is not because we are out of milk! Here you can view the first shop and interior of Albert Heijn from 1887 and various items from their rich history. There is also an exhibition about Albert Heijn’s rich coffee past.

Cycling & Sailing through the Zaan Region

The quickest and most efficient form of transport to see the Zaan region is by bike. You can rent a bike from our hotel and visit the world of mills along the majestic Zaan River. Ask us on arrival for map of the area.
